Room cleanliness was subpar, but the friendly staff made our stay better.

Family with kids a bit disappointed
The staff was friendly enough but let’s face it, first impressions are crucial. The check-in process was smooth, but I didn’t exactly feel like a VIP, you know?
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for.

The Pb Surf Beachside Inn offered a fantastic location just a short walk to the beach, with clean, modern rooms. The rooftop view was breathtaking, perfect for sunsets, and the nearby eateries made it easy to explore local cuisine. Plus, I found the prices to be a great deal for such quality.
Parking is limited.

We explored great eateries, like the 710 Beach Club and PB Ale House, for some fantastic California coastal cuisine. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach. Plus, we enjoyed some fun at the interactive mini-golf course nearby. Definitely a memorable trip!
Our room was quite small and a bit less clean than expected, with mildew in the bathroom and a cramped shower, making it tough to navigate. Not what we hoped for.

I loved the location—it’s just a short walk to the beach, which was perfect for enjoying the sun and surf. The room felt clean and cozy, and the strong air conditioning was a big plus on hot days. I really appreciated the small outdoor area with tables for enjoying coffee. However, the parking situation was pretty tight, and it was tough to find a spot during peak hours. One night, I noticed some noise from the street, which disrupted my sleep a bit. I also felt the limited continental breakfast could have had more options. It would’ve been great to see better maintenance in the bathrooms, as it seemed like they could use a little more attention. Overall, a good stay with great location but some room for improvement in services and amenities.
